    This talented potter learned well at side of her grandmother (Lita L. Garcia) and her aunt (Dorothy Torivio). Sandra is widely respected for her large, intricately painted ollas, vases, jars, bowls, and miniatures. Her designs often repeat hundreds of swirling bands of symbols creating an optical effect called "eyedazzlers". This piece is a miniature version of these larger works with three varying patterns separated with red kiva steps moving up and around the curve of the pots surface to the elongated opening.
